Doh,,, let me think, cut down a few trees, get a few of them round bits called the trunk, put them under the keel and invent something called a winch possibly...

That said, Granton harbour (Edinburgh) at one time had a large fishing fleet, quite regular the guys with smaller boats, 50ft or so, would beach them, then scrape and paint the hull pre the next tide, once watched guys change the propellor on one, boy were they working fast, to get the prop out from the gap it sits in between the rudder shaft and the hull you've got to pull the propshaft in to the boat, this leaves a gaping hole in the bottom of your boat, not good if the tide comes in and your pissing around trying to get it all back together again...

Yip, then it restarted again about seven years or so back, work was carried out on it for a short period of time then came to a stop again...

That shopping centre thing they're  building right outside Reg's balcony, how's that happening, thought they weren't allowed to build anything new within 100 meters of the sea...

Only if there was nothing there before, Its called alterations innit
The half build on the mountain is home to a couple of motorhomes, solar panels the lot,
also down and outs live underneath it,
I watch it with my binoculars, quite a busy place up there, few small holdings with pigs and goats etc,

So you'll still be able to watch the sun set over La Gomera in the summer months to the gentle wafting of the odour from round the corner then will you...

Rubbish, Shops where hotels are will always be busy, try walking in a straight line along the safari centre, packed always,
Hard Rock cafe dont start up where you need to get a bus, some people dont do bus's, only peasants, Santiago 6 being a prime example of being in the wrong place, for now, Location location location, always,

About 5 buses do that route from Cristianos to Las Americas, and the bit beyond. Sadly most follow the same path which seems silly to me. For example they could send one down the hill past Harleys, had to tramp up that last week with a gut full of eat as much as you can Chinese. Or at least park an Ambulance there with a defibrilator at the ready.........

Popular misconception that. The Immaculate Conception actually covers the conception of Mary in the womb of her mother St. Anne and not Jesus in Mary's womb which 99% of people seem to think...[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
