It's a leap into the unknown. We'll never know until we do it. (Bit like independence, people are scared of change).

Does that mean Yanks won't be able to withdraw money from ATM's in the Euro zone?

So does that mean if an American or British person e.g. load up their credit cards so that they are in credit, they still will be able to use them to withdraw money at ATM's in the Eurozone?

Ah right, gotcha. Incidentally, if your credit card is in credit ( at least my one anyway ) there are no charges for withdrawing cash at ATM's ( apart from the usual bank charges)Paul Novak wrote:CREDIT CARDS are nothing to do with it because its not your CC its the VISA or MASTERCARD
they will bill you in any money you like ,however a brit paying everything on a credit card (and a lot of people cant get em) will be find its not as cheap as a debit card .TAKING CASH ON A CREDIT CARD COSTS
your in IRELAND,if you trasfer some money from your bank to your brother in dublin it cost you what it cost you as per the deal with your bank ,if you wanted to take the kids to FINLAND and wanted to pay for it IT WILL COST YOU THE SAME AMOUNT ..
