    CBT Empty CBT

Post by Perfectspecimen on Fri 13 Feb 2015 - 1:00

Oh dear, having bought new 125cc look alike Harley I discover I'm not allowed to ride it. Yep, cant get insurance unless I pass CBT. This is a test for idiots who have to ride round cones and stop when some fecker says STOP, FFS.  Now when I was younger we could ride bikes up to 250cc if we could afford one, and after 1983 up to 125cc. Indeed I bought a brand new one in 1983 for Patsy to get to work having previously owned and successfully used without maiming herself or anybody else a Honda 50. The ironic thing is I'm allowed to drive a 50cc bike without even L plates on and can transport passenger on back! Heyup, the best bit is yet to come. This was brought in to abide by new EU laws, like the rest of the licence rules which have been changed somewhat but none of those apply to me because I have had a driving licence from the early 70s. I can still drive cars buses and lorries with trailers up to a total of 12 tons but I cant ride a motorbike capable of more than about 50mph which they are ex factory restricted to. Ooops nearly forgot, the best bit. If I live in Northern Ireland I dont need a CBT to ride this 125. CBT 3275847336 CBT 3275847336 CBT 3275847336
