Re: What are you doing today??
Pulled it all apart at the weekend

Started today and got alot done

The weather has been against me all day, Ive got no garage and no work shed, the rain has been off and on, had the circular saw covered when it got heavy and when cutting I was under the sheet lol, the only thing to stop me doing this is an electric shock

If you look at the back wall you will see a thin area that needs covered, Im going to finish that and a little corner in the dinningroom tomorrow and thats it all done with just the trim to go.

So hopfully the rain will be gone by tomorrow and Ill get the rest finnished in the morning and ready to start in the hall.
Im goosed not used to work anymore

Re: What are you doing today??
Now the last time I laid laminate flooring the instructions said to leave about a half inch gap all round to allow for expansion, I don't see that in your pics...

Thanks Mermaid, its almost done now........
The last bit of the dinningroom is now complete

Just this gap to fill behind the settee then gonna start the hallway and leave the beading until last..

ohhhhhhhh and before I forget must show you these photos as I dont want to go on the bad workmanship wall hehehehe

Re: What are you doing today??
I nearly collapsed at work today. Was outside looking at a job with the manager when I started shivering and could hardly walk. Drove home and up to Doc's surgery...

...drove up to the Queen Margaret hospital in Dunfermline...forgot they've taken away accident and emergency. Nearest one is Victoria hospital in Kirkcaldy. Phoned NHS111 and they asked a load of questions and put me in a queue for a nurse to phone me back to ask more questions. That was an hour ago...still waiting. Do you think I should spend my savings before I kick the bucket?

Re: What are you doing today??
Janet rang that 111 when i thought i was off, What a nonsense
Favourite is park up and phone an ambulance
Dont get into a conversation or they think your well enough to make your own way,
Let it go something like this "Hello i need help quick, I'm on the b67 near the cross roads" then put the phone on the seat and say nothing else.
Soon get sorted,Todays top tip

Its ok cam I get that shivering and walking difficulty thing all the time, but I never try to drive when I have it, just walk to the pub and get the first one down, symptoms tend to go disappear completely after two or three...

mmmm, think you could still be a candidate for the "Well, would you employ them" thread...
Last time I laid laminate flooring I cut a gap the width of the laminate at the bottom of skirting's and door frames to allow the flooring to slide under, no need for the trim, perfecto...

Oh, and I'm pretty good at hanging pictures as well...
