    New camera

    Post by 3rdforum on Mon 24 Mar 2014 - 20:48

I got a "bridge" camera a couple of years ago and find it great except for one thing, there is no manual focus on it. This means I cant take proper photos of anything thats moving. I'm thinking of getting a new one. Could any of our resident camera experts advise. I would still like to take those panoramic photos. Is there anything out there that wont break the bank?

I've got a Canon EOS 1100D Dermo, bit cheaper than a Nikon but still pricy. Mine was £508 which came with a standard 18-55mm lens plus I got a free 75-300mm lens with it. I had to buy a camera bag over and above that plus you'll need Sandisk cards. I'm not savvy enough to tell you which is the best deal/cheapest on the market. Have a look around Currys or PC world (they're both the same), but I'd say you need to upgrade from your bridge to a DSLR. I'd also suggest a wee photo course somewhere near you so you can learn what the feck all the symbols on the dials mean!

I have a digital camera, cost about £20. It takes pictures for ebay stuff perfectly, indeed makes them look very nice as well. My phone takes pictures too but I dont think my computer has a blueray thing on it. Still, I get by.
