    Did anyone see Jeff Lynne on BBC4 last night, great programme. Was going to go to bed after it but then the Birmingham bands came on, so Jeff again, this time with Roy Wood and Carl Wayne and loads of others. Brought back loads of great memories.

    I remember buying Roy Wood's "Boulders" album way back. It was his first solo album...

    Thats a famous one of the Smiths outside salford's Boys Club. Never liked them though, themselves and Tracey Chapman used to depress me.
