Well I live at sea level so how far do I need to drill down to capture some of this heat? I have just spent yet another £650 on central heating oil so getting some for free is quite interesting. Yes I have heard of heat pumps but I dont think they go down very far.

Well the UK is full to bursting so instead of building upwards they should go down, then we can be warm for nothing,

Storage heaters work on hot stones just like apartments in Tenerife keep warm after the sun go's down, can it be hard to get some free heat up , £2 grand a year for gas to keep warm is a bit much,

My fridge is under my draining board in Tenerife and that gets hot like a radiator.

The heat pumps only go down about 6 feet Vince. The earth is at a constant 11 degrees there. Every 180 foot thereafter it gets warmer by about 1 degree. Btw, those heat pumps use a hell of a lot of electricity
