    Aye Cam don't personally recall it looking like that though before my time, church and theatre in centre of market long gone but most of other buildings still there.
    top part of image changed totally now dockyards are a distant memory.

    we've got a thread on our spartans forum for old pics of Blyth some corkers on there, and the Blyth Market FB pages has some great ones.

    I even know know where that picture has come from, its the Britain from above project isn't it, their website is superb:
