    Ultrasound

Post by Mcqueen on Tue 6 Mar 2012 - 22:18

Tomorro i go for a ultrasound, Dont eat for six hours before hand, Well this should be interesting, I start feelin faint and start shaking after 4 to 5 hours, called a hypo i think, So when i collapse i will be in the right place, I might buy a holster with a mars bar in it, No mention of not driving , Still i'l be in safe hands,

Have a sugary drink with yer Reg. That is bollocks coz you end up not eating for about 12 hours by the time they have faffed.

big time waste.....Jan got to have a scan, she needs it and has to have one every 3 years. They still send her to see a consultant triage, then she gets another appointment for a consultant who will tell her she needs physio. She then goes to physio and they decide what is wrong they should not be treating her for with physio. Back to consultant who sends her for a scan, they then know where and how to treat. Last time paid private for scan because 6 months messing then 5 months waiting list. That is why I ask about local scans.
Hope you have an ok day cocker.

Reg, you should have let them know you are diabetic

I know when my ex husband had to fast for some reason he used to panic big time. Take a sandwich with you and something to wash it down with as soon as you have finished your scan

Men Eh!, love to be martyrs .... just flamin tell them when you arrive and they will probably push you right to the front of the queue - unless you want to keel over and then sue them for neglect ...... Now there's a thought

Well that went ok, told them when i got there, Big panic, I should have had an early morning appointment, Then you dont have to fast long, So i was in next, Gupta was next so he got binned to the back, Them doctors and the likes think their special, So when i asked if she could see my shreddies, Not a glimmer, All of a sudden she sneezed and it went all over the place, I made a big deal out of being sprayed, So i got a rub down, Then she became human, And all appologetic, Anyway my tummy was rumbling, And i had 40 bits of insulin, So wind was becoming a problem, When she asked me to push my tummy out i thought oh dear, Anyway i managed to nip it before it escaped, good job my rim is in top form, So the day went well,

I felt like i got my moneys worth, Queue jumping was the best bit, Then as i was eating my sandwhich afterwards an alarm guy turned up, He opened the van, lifted his tool box out, Which then fell to pieces, And went all over the carpark, The language was shocking, I've been banned for less, So when he calmed down i put my window down and said "Dont you just hate it when that happens" He didnt laugh, Miserable feck ,
