Recall waking up one morning when I was out Tenerife and the snow line was well down Teide, must have been well below Villa Flora, was a fair bit in news papers and local TV about it...

Vilaflor then. Highest village in Spain at 1400m. 56m higher than Ben Nevis. Only another 2300m climb to the top of Teide at 3715m (12,198ft). Not done that personally...…...

I've been up the Teleferico a few times but never got the permit to walk to the top. I believe Dermot did it though.
