Not too bad that
Luke cut Masons and i thought i can live with that, anyway he couldn't really make a mess of mine and the difference between a good and bad hair cut is 2 weeks, so i had mine cut

No, my next door neighbour has a railing (ironwork) that he built from his front door to the street, it's too narrow to get a car past.

Welding. I was supposed to be welding Freelander sills but it was raining. I did however remove some plastic trim just forward of the rear wheel and found a hole big enough to get my hand in.
Thats just a drainage hole Sir....
I was under the impression that Freelanders dont go rusty but this one already has repairs on the sills. Strange really cos it came from Birmingham, nowhere near the fecking sea and the rest of it is spotless. Seeing as I was on a welding theme I decided to weld up the steering column on the kit-car. Done it once but I wasnt happy with it. Its better now. Managed to break the wiper stalk whilst doing it, fecked. I will wire it up to a switch on the dash. Simples.

Re: What are you doing today??
Ordered a tool kit off ebay 9 days ago, no show. Not cheap either. Complained and they are blaming their local Royal Mail depot who have no workers. If thats true and I have no reason to disbelieve as tracking shows Royal Mail had it on 20th April. Unions probably suggested they self isolate I guess.
Patsy is still working from home. She now has a system where she can talk to punters via computer. Quite comical listening to the silly reasons peeps cant pay. Patsy is far too soft, she plays nice cop all the time. Feck me, I would NOT employ her.
This morning the system was not working. All day the geeks have been on the phone telling her what buttons to press all to no avail. They are blaming BT now. Patsy has done zero work but gets paid anyway. Not that we can spend it anyway.

Re: What are you doing today??
Did my good deed for today. Checked the garden over and found a hedgehog had come out foraging last night and fell fown one of the holes for my new fence posts. I always check holes because we used to find hedgehogs, toads, frogs etc. at the bottom of the holes we were digging for telephone poles.

Re: What are you doing today??
Keeping my eye on the workmen. They've started putting up the fence posts, 100mm², I'm making sure they're keeping to the string line. 119 fence slats have to go back to Beatsons today, they weren't on my order. Beatsons have dumped the 1 ton bags of sand and hardcore where the skip was meant to go so we'll have to find a new place to put it. I'm gonna be ringing neighbours asking them to move cars...

Re: What are you doing today??
Talked my neighbour into cutting down a leylandii he'd planted 9 years ago. Feckin' thing was above the guttering on a 2 storey house and right outside my spare bedroom window. Zapped it with my electric chainsaw last night. You can see how it was right in front of my window. Before and after...
