Re: 65 but no pension!
Cheers big ears! Well no, they are probably on the small side lol. So, avidly checked bank account today. No change £36. Yes, I am that poor! Anyway spent an hour on the phone, got absolutely nowhere. Did manage to speak to one human but she just gave me yet another phone number. There is a complaint procedure that you can use but you can only do it by post so I have splashed out on a stamp and a letter is winging its way to Wolverhampton. Only thing is they received 20,000+ complaints last year according to the website. Hmmm...

Still no pension and no reply to letter. They owe me one week now.
Tomorrow I am going to local Age Concern office, get some professionals on the job.

Re: 65 but no pension!
Age UK its called. Quite local to me so very handy. Went yesterday and nice lady got the phone number for Pension Service. After about half an hour someone called Lisa answered.......... Lady has far more patience than me lol. Anyway upshot was Pension Service is running about 5 weeks behind schedule and not to worry as they will back date it. Also it is paid monthly in arrears. Would it be possible to find out how much I will get? No. Lady tells me lots of people have similar problems and some just give up.
Not me pal! I shall be back there next month if nothing turns up. Also I must remember to not tell them I have died until a month after the event. Something to look forward to then.

Re: 65 but no pension!
Got back from Tenerife Sunday night and I have letters from Pension People. So they have given me £77 a week. Surprised it was as much as that really as there are huge holes in my payments to them history. Anyway today I have been in touch with pension credits and nice Geordie man tells me I will be getting another 100 quid a week on top.
Party time then innit. No wonder there are so many foreigners here its so easy to get free money. No idea what to spend it on, maybe get Patsy a new-er car.
