Re: What are you doing today??
I had two...
I left the bar to go for a pee, she comes in looking for me. I come back and barmaid says, "I think your wife was in looking for you". I goes back to room, no one there, Only place left is reception area so I go down there. Nope...Back up stairs to bar...no, back to room, no...walk back to the lift area and bump into her!
She's away for a jacuzzi now...

Re: What are you doing today??
49 years ago this month I was sent on a job that ended up in Anguilla a little dot in the Caribbean, so today I got to thinking about people and things that happened, when we arrived the bosses decided to set up a radio station called Radio Anguilla and appointed a young lady called Linda Banks to run it, so I looked her up and lo and behold she has ended up as a clinical phsycologist and is well known around the world, started looking at some u_tube videos and came across one showing the island and it came to a part near the airport and they were passing a load of telegraph poles lying by the roadside ,I thought to myself " that is the friggin poles we cut down from the side of the airstrip so that we could get the c130s in as the biggest plane previous to that was a Plper Comanche, and when I checked it out that is exactly what they were ,they have been lying there for 49 years and the lazy twats have just left them there , when I first came back from there I told everyone that the islanders were the laziest twats on the planet and this just proves me right, visiting St Martin in September so might pop across for a look see.

Re: What are you doing today??
Had a look at our M.Os report for the duration we were there the highest number of injuries was for sun burn and no wonder the place where we stayed was called the Valley and there was only one tree called the big sycamore , our docs remedy was stay in the shade, an old guy saw the state of my face with burns and got some raw aloe vera and rubbed it on my face ,I was brand new within 48 hrs, told this story to an old guy in St Kitts and now every time I meet him I get the works gratis, best bar in town by the way

Re: What are you doing today??
I'm bollixed. Tried hard to get drunk after my mum's funeral. Ended up out with my brother, his battleaxe, my eldest brothers son and daughter and her loaded austrian boyfriend and my twin nephews. Myself and the twins were last left in the pub. 15 pints I reckon and couldn't get drunk. Now, I'm knackered. don't know why, it's a mystery.

Macie's sleepover Saturday. Pick her up after 10:00am then we're going looking for snow boots for her. She only had wellies to plod about in when the snow came and her wee feet were cold when she was sledging.
