Just read the above, I've been on at Annie to get an Irish passport, my understanding is cos her dad was Irish she's entitled to one, main reason, holidays, due to Annie's previous health issue her horiday insurance through her bank account now don't cover her for previous illnessess, but I wonder if she had an Irish passport would than entitle her to an European Health Card ???

I initially thought yes, then thought dose a passport mean your a citizen...

Like the Scottish independence vote, I'm Scottish, lived there for years, job takes me to England, independence vote comes along, cos I'm not resident in Scotland no vote for me, but a Pole, Pakistani, Indian or African living there gets the vote...

Passport means you are a citizen but what I'm not sure about is, if you have to be legally resident in an EU country to get an EHIC card

May has sorted a soft brexit for you lads. So, dont panic. Personally I have credit cards totalling over 25K and I would expect at least a heart transplant for that.........

No idea but probably like here something to do with a domiciliary resident, lives here all the time but if push comes to shove can be kicked out or a fiscal resident (pay taxes here) which gives you more clout. Everyone wants people who give their money to the tax man.
