Perfectspecimen wrote:She gets on fine with Patch if I leave them alone together but she tends to growl at him if a humans about. Patch seems to accept whos in the driving seat here. Of course he is mainly interested in humping her but as soon as he starts sniffing that area she promptly sits on her butt.Patch is not actually living here now he is with Fred and Pixie has proved to be good guard dog barking if someone comes near the house. She follows me round like a lamb. Tried her off the lead up the lane opposite my house and she stays close and stops if told too. Unlike Patch who is easily distracted by absolutely anything that moves. Tried with a ball tonight, nope, she wont chase it. This is probably a good thing as I dont have to bend down to pick it up again. As for doggy do's Minty, small dogs equals small turds. Patch is small for a Jack Russell this ones even smaller and if you feed them on the dried food as opposed to the tinned stuff the poos come out in a hard state not sort of runny. Now Patch always used to hide himself away in the long grass up the lane to do his business so plastic bag not required but Pixie wants to do it on the bloody tarmac! A re-training regime is on the cards here trust me.
