Re: New toy.
Madness to do that, Lots to pay out like ferries, petrol import duty etc, that is why cars are so expensive in Tenerife, I looked into doing it to earn a shilling, I soon gave up on it,
now one way is to bring your stuff in a van then sell the van to somebody taking their stuff home.

Re: New toy.
Today I have been playing with the new toy, or rather getting my hands grubby. The seller told me it had a water leak, he thought from the water pump, so I bought a new pump, cambelt and an entire head gasket set just to be on the safe side along with a new oil filter. Total cost £104 so I was pleased with that. Took me about an hour to gain access to the engine, jeez, then another hour trying to find the bonnet pull, already had that up so I knew it was there somewhere. Found it eventually, its in the fecking boot.
Another half hour and I have managed to remove the cambelt cover, cant get my fat paws down there easy eh? Then I start it up and armed with a small mirror start looking for a water leak. No sign of any water coming from anywhere, it was running for at least half an hour, temperature guage where it should be, radiator fan never came on once, it was bloody cold out there in the wind, and no sign of any extreme pressure in the system. Well, I'm gobsmacked. I now have a hundred quids worth of spares I dont apparently need. All back together again now and I shall wait to see what occurs. Now I should be happy............

Re: New toy.
In the manual it says its a good idea to drop the engine out from below if you need to work on it. They aint wrong, you can barely see anything let alone reach it. Theres a specialist garage for these in Thetford, already been there to get the hydragas pumped up and they seem like nice folks. On the facebook group too. I have a feeling they may have a new customer sooner or later.........
Bit off topic tried to read BBC news but they have changed the format. You used to be able to scroll down and read 10 most popular stories. Its gone. Website designer probably related to MGF designer is my guess.

Re: New toy.
Dont work mate, they soon go even worse. You have to send them away to get them metalled, about 100 quid. Design fault. I would describe them as actually dangerous. Some fog lights would work but nowhere really to stick them. Feck it, I'll stick a frogeye Sprite bonnet on it.

Seriously tho toothpaste is the same as rubbing compound so it would but also think what it does to your teeth,
Listerene total is your man, you can brush that round your mouth and get a better result
