Me neither, I want total independance, none of this devolved powers shite!. The Westminster government knows Independance will come eventually, but they are trying to stave it off until they have wrung every last penny out of the oil in Scottish waters.

I couldn't agree more. I met this mad bar steward from Manchester on holiday in Gran canaria. His name was Eric Ogden, never will forget it. He did the usual shite of ripping the piss out of the Irish and just when i was going to deck him, I saw this little grin on his face. bar steward was  winding me right up. the two of us got on like a house on fire after that. feck me, he was a lunatic, would do anything. He got called up to the stage by the entertainment staff and was  made sit on a chair with the spotlight on him. He had to answer different questions truthfully. If the staff thought was lying, he had to take a drink out of his pint. All was going well until he was asked what his favourite chat up line was. "Do you feck on first dates" he answered. The place went deadly quite ............... apart from me who was choking up the swallow of the pint I had just taken . Anyway Oggy used to call me Paddy cos he couldn't remember my name. We got talking to another group one night, of whom two of them were women from East Belfast ( Unionist heartland). Oggy overheard one of them saying that they didn't want to sit near me or talk to me. Oggy turned on her, "what the feck do you mean by that, he's from ireland as well" She said, "I'm Irish but I'm also British. I'm not like him, I'm no Paddy". Well Oggy let fly, "What do you mean, everyone should be proud of where they are from you daft cow". She got thick and threw a drink over him and me. Security marched her out. we never saw her again. Just shows the sort of poison that went on

Well I voted to get out and I'm still pleased I did. Probably just the non conformist within me. I like to do it MY way. 10 years ago I was pro Europe, probably just to piss off the British government so there you go. Most of my life I have been battling the bar stewards and sometimes I take a hit but more often than not I come out winning big time. To be honest I havent really read much about this skirmish in N Ireland as I dont give a toss for the place, or whoever lives there. If I hear a N Ireland accent I tend to avoid any conversation with them as like Dermot said its liable to lead to unpleasantness. I am guessing the two communities are still miles apart and dont really interact with each other so it wont take much to light the touch paper. Silly really, Patsys an Irish Catholic and I was brought up a Methodist and although we argue at least 10 times a day about anything and everything I cant remember ever having one about our respective religions. Not that I believe any of the crap about Jesus or God anyway. Best thing to do really is send a Jeremy over there to sort it out. I dont mean Corbyn or Clarkson........... Kyle. Right up his street innit.
