I reckon either a time limited backstop will be agreed to ( 10 years minimum) or a ref called in NI and let them decide if they will accept ( they will) a NI only backstop enabling rest of UK to leave. Problem with this is Scotland ( rightly) will look for same, as a minimum. Only way of UK staying in one piece is the time limited one.

Judge rejects temporary ban on Parliament shutdown ahead of full hearing. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]  This part here means there is no chance of it being stopped: "The government can appeal it, but pending any appeal it remains intact - so you are in a position where the monarch has made that order based on advice that is unlawful.

That would put the Queen in a very difficult position." Brexit - Page 15 1498946960

Theres ways and means and shutting down democracy isn't one of them. If that had been done in South America we would all be protesting so serves the bastard right. It will come back and bite him on the arse.  But he is just the puppet, the puppet master is Cummings and probably someone above him is pulling his strings to.

I had my first bite of Brexit reality today. went into the Crown Trade shop. asked for 3 buckets of Sandtex tinted to a colour. Nope! They ran out last Monday. All the UK stores are stock piling cos a lot of the constituents of the paint base comes from Romania or Poland somewhere, and they are worried they wont be able to get them at the manufacturing plant. My shop would sell 1000+ buckets of paint a week. They are hoping to get 100 buckets on Monday, but these were originally supposed to be there last Wednesday. They rang around all the other Crown shops to find out they were in the same boat.

I would think so, it's the chemical constituents that will be the problem. It has to come from EU. I don't think they are worried about tarifffs or import taxes or the like, it's the delay caused by paperwork, inspections etc. Lads in shop reckon paint price will increase by 10 to 15%
