Well as it stands, there are more MP's in parliament who are remainers than those who want to leave.
The final deal will now be put to a vote to see whether it passes or not. But just to cheer you up a bit Reg, that final deal will be nothing like what you thought , when you voted last year. On the trade side, Ireland is already doing a lot of work behind the scenes, trying to get the UK a tariff free deal ( good for us both, and Ire and UK have always backed each other up when dealing with EU so its good to see that continuing). The big stumbling block will be freedom of movement of people. I've no idea how they are going to square that circle. And, I'm pretty sure the DUP will have another tantrum before this is all over.

But I'm not a turkey, I voted to leave not stay under a different name. Watched a program called 'Channel' last week. The poor fishermen of Hastings try to catch dover sole but mostly they pull up skate in the nets. They are not allowed to land these as they dont have permission so they just throw them back, dead. Seals are well pleased, free dinner with no effort. As for me I cant remember the last time I saw skate in a chip shop......... Must be endangered then.   All I can hope for is when this is finally sorted we have some bugger up there in years to come ready to fight for what I voted for.

Hmmm, not sure you have heard the last of Nige yet. He may be playing for the right time to move. Bit like Boris. If Trump can run America would you bet against either of these two running England? Cant wait personally. Only better outcome would be me running the show.

The Sturgeon is about as relevent to UK politics as the Liberal party. Who may or may not be lead by the other Vince.

Queensferry crossing came in under budget at £1.3billion for a crossing of just over a mile. Dover/Calais is minimum 21 mile crossing and I reckon the channel is a wee bit deeper than the Forth. Apart from the height clearance you would need for one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, what sort of cost would be involved to build this? Never going to happen, I reckon...

This is the longest sea crossing bridge, 26:4 miles long crossing about 16 miles of sea, it bends a bit, but impressive bit is 4 years to build at the cost of $2:3 billion, and to cut a 40 minute journey to 20 minutes...

So if we are going to build it get these feckers to do it,,, cheap as chip innit...
