    Playa Paraiso Relaunch

    Post by 3rdforum on Mon 30 May 2016 - 20:15

    Taken From Canarian Weekly:

ADEJE Council, together with the Cabildo and the Chamber of Commerce, are to promote a comprehensive plan to improve the Playa Paraiso services, via its restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.
The announcement coincides with the October opening of the luxury Hard Rock Hotel, as reported in last week's Canarian Weekly.
Entrepreneurs and institutions in Playa Paraiso agree that the arrival of the new five-star hotel, which will attract the younger, affluent tourist, means things will have to sharpen up in order to stay competitive.
The four-phase plan, presented last week to local tour operators, is aimed at improving the area's general presentation, making it a more attractive destination for visitors.
The action, to be focused on underlining restaurants and retail outlets, will address the various stages, dividing the tasks between prominent bodies.
The first applies to Adeje Council, with innovation workshops. Then there's the Chamber of Commerce, which deals with the diagnosis of outlets, and the Council's response to the decoach phase (interior design and decoration). The final phase will be dedicated to the improvement of tourist space.
The training part - innovation workshops and diagnostics for Point of Sales - will be aimed at promoting commercial creativity, business models and interior design in stores in tourist areas.
The diagnosis point of sale requires a specialist team to conduct a thorough analysis on trade aspects, which need improvement for greater profitability.
In the decoach phase, training in interior design, trade and restoration is needed. A consultant team will visit the establishments and provide personalised training sessions to create new experiences that generate sales.
The last stage, the improvement of tourist space, will increase Playa Paraiso's quality, to maintain its competitiveness and leadership.
In short, it's a plan which includes training, improving public and private spaces, and support for small and medium enterprises.

Don't envy them the task, it-s a right pooh-hole and builders site.

The Hard Rock might prove to be the catalyst for major improvements. If they go ahead with the plan then the area might provide a good investment opportunity. Would like to see what their intentions are regarding the tourist and private spaces.

Yep, Paradise it certainly is not.    Makes Lower Golf del Sur look lively.
