There is one just like that on the roof of the posh new harbour offices at Wisbech Marina. Owned by Fenland District Council. I noticed it had stopped turning about a year ago............

Lot of new builds in Manchester have one perched on the top off them, never see them rotating, probably a grant involved somewhere, FFS just build a decent power station or tidal power and give our eyesight a break...

Waste of space, not only blots on the landscape but useless blots...

5276 of the useless things at the beginning of the year and more gong up daily, and for what, a mere 8% of our energy needs, one day, the 21 December 2013 to be exact they managed to knock out 17% for a period of time, the other 83% of our energy needs being provided by the conventional power stations that are running away in the background anyway as these feckin useless things are so unreliable...

Green energy my arse, political bullshit and brown paper envelopes more like...
