    Money rates

    First topic message reminder :

Today you should start seeing a bit of a better exchange rate. I would not be surprised if places like Admiral are not offering 1.14 already.

I wonder what effect the bail out of Greece will have on the Euro/pound situation, so far today it has lost a Tad

I don't understand this crap. Greece has got it's bail-out and everyone's happy, UK public finances are in surplus at a 4 year high yet the FTSE drops again!

Its because investors don't believe that this bailout will be the answer to Greece's problems ( and they're right)

Dropped 2 cents in 2 days, totally pathetic, the currency fails it gets better against the pound, the currency rallies it gets better against the pound. It will crash soon and we will then get zilch to the pound.

    ....??

It's saying 1.11 in the papers,

but we got 1.15 in Tesco the other day,
so I would expect 1.25 in Tenerife!!!!!

It took me 35 long years to work out that because I was angry it didn't mean I was right.

I use this site generally. I find their rates are generally spot on with the high street banks.

    XE Currency
