The diet starts again tomorrow so I weighed myself this evening for the first time since Xmas eve morning. I've gained 8.8 pounds. That must be a feckin record. Strange thing is, I didn't eat a whole lot over Chrimbo?? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Record weight gain
Booze mate. I have just weighed in and in 5-6 weeks I have gained 16 pound. I am now going to start back at the Gym and rip like feck. Thing is will I lose weight or just bulk. Be very careful how you lose and please remember it is not fat or sugar that makes you gain wait it is INSULIN.
The other 2 make your body produce more and so vicious circle starts and people do become diabetic because of it.
I am going to cut milk, fruit, bread, pasta and spuds for a week. Then go to a healthy eating plan with little carbs and high protein.

Re: Record weight gain
Right, because of my record weight gain, I'm going to post my weight here. That way, I know someone else will be watching and it will encourage/embarass me into losing it over the next 6 months. The target is a minimum of 35 pounds. I will post my weight each week beginning today ( don't laugh!)

Sorry peeps but BMI is a bit of blox. Some very skinny people have loads of fat as a percentage of body weight. The most important thing in keeping healthy is keeping a stady insulin level and Cholesterol.
When I get to my happy weight, 12st 12lb to 12st 6st, I am considered overwieght, but my bone and muscle structure are good so as muscle weighs more than fat I am considered fat.
At that weight I am fabulous in cholesterol, BP and heart rate. My insulin levels are great as no cravings. I feel good sleep well and lungs are super, so BMI is mis-leading.
At the moment it is a different story because I have a stone of fat to lose and another to turn back to muscle.
Training starts Monday morning with a dedicated conviction.
